Review: This issue is another winner from the sorely underrated creative team of Archie Goodwin, Herb Trimpe and John Severin. The Hulk makes an unexpected pit stop in a world where the Nazis won in this strong done-in-one parable by Goodwin. The writer also gives us the Shaper of Worlds, an inspired cosmic-level character that fits well into Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s Marvel pantheon. Trimpe and Goodwin also continue to deliver the goods; Little Me missed out of this classic art combo’s work back in the day but is enjoying discovering now (see reviews).
Grade: A-
Cool factor: The Shaper of Worlds is a fantastic addition to the Marvel Universe.
Not-so-cool factor: Captain Axis? Not so much.
